We use a varying blend of acrylic, nylon and wool in our products. Our material is free of azo-dyes and anything that may be harmful to skin. Before coming to you, each product is washed in Earth Choice, a vegetable-based, natural detergent for woollens, made in Australia.
We will soon introduce products made of 100% pure wool.

Are there likely to be allergic reactions to the wool?

Not likely because we take utmost care to handpick the best quality, soft wool available in the market. Our material is free of azo-dyes and anything that may be harmful to skin. Moreover, before coming to you, each product is washed in Earth Choice, a vegetable-based, natural detergent for woollens, made in Australia. If your child has an existing allergy to certain materials, we'd advise you to take precautions and always layer his/her clothes, with a woollen garment being the topmost layer.

Are these woollen products safe for my child?

As far as we know, our products are perfectly safe for your child to wear. However, since wool reacts differently on different skins, we always recommend a layer of soft cotton or fleece clothing underneath the hand-knit woollie, for greater comfort and warmth. Dressing in layers is always wiser! Moreover, the material we use is free of azo-dyes and anything that may be harmful to skin. Before coming to you, each product is washed in Earth Choice, a vegetable-based, natural detergent for woollens, made in Australia.

How do I care for my woollie and keep it going for years?

Accepted Answer

To care for this bundle of love, please follow these instructions:
- Always gently hand-wash or dry clean your handmade woollie. Avoid machine washing.
- Use a gentle or woollen specific detergent that doesn’t harm the woollie.
- Lightly squeeze out the excess water without stretching the wool.
- Lay flat to dry in the sun or shade. Never hang it to prevent it from losing shape.
